Tot programs provide 3-5 year olds an opportunity to experience a safe and fun environment that promotes learning and social interaction. When children are involved in a recreation program, they have the opportunity to develop positive feelings and establish friendships.

All classes are at Clymer Recreation Center, Monday thru Thursday and are one week or two weeks long each session.
Please note: Children must be fully potty trained before you may register them for a tot class.

Session I: June 16-June 26
Dinosaur Explorer
June 16-26, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

This class is everything dinosaur. Explore the prehistoric age through fossils, bones, and craft projects while learning about our friends who are millions of years old. Tots will even go on their own archeological dig in the playground next to Clymer.

Dance & Sing Along
June 16-June 19, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Plenty of giggles to go around! Tots will sing and dance to all their favorite tunes. Your child will be sure to love this class.

Finger Paint Fanatics
June 23-June 26, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Prepare to get messy and wild while painting all kinds of pictures.

Session II: June 30-July 10
Little Chefs
June 30-July 10, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Does your tot like to help in the kitchen? They can work on their culinary skills in this fun class. On the menu: pizzas, quesadillas, fruit salads, and more!

Stars and Stripes
June 30-July 3, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Tots will have a great time learning patriotic songs, make all sorts of fun projects, such as Independence Day themed wind socks, an American flag, plus play lots of games.

Say It in Spanish
July 7-July 10, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Tots will learn the basics of Spanish such as colors, alphabet, and numbers.

Session III: July 14-July 24
Music

Tots will learn about the different types and sounds of instruments, and get to decorate and take home their own.

Mr. Sandman

Create and enjoy! Your child will bring home priceless crafts created from sand using different tools such as various containers, canvas, and papers. We will also have a blast making interesting and different crafts with scratch art.

All About Me

The ankle bone’s connected to the knee bone, the knee bone’s connected to the hip bone! Children will learn how our body moves and their five senses in a fun environment with song and silly games.

Session IV: July 28-August 7
Collage of Crafts

Get ready to create. Try your hand at decoupage and a big variety of crafts. Different projects each day.

Safari
July 28-July 31, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Go on Safari with us. Participants will learn about different animals and plants.

Water Play and Safety
August 4-August 7, 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

Wild and wacky water fun is what this class will offer. Water safety and fun are the two main goals here. On Thursday, wear a swimsuit and bring a towel as we head out to the park and turn on the fun! Plan on getting wet!
