ANGELA WILLIAMS, SPHR
Phoenix, Arizona
Angela Williams, SPHR, has over thirty years of experience in a variety of industries, including public utilities, financial, retail and health care. She has earned a Senior Professional in Human Resource certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute. Ms. Williams is a human resource generalist and brings experience from the very large corporations to the small business owner, as well as franchised operations.
LESLIE PORTER
Tucson, Arizona
Leslie D. Porter, SPHR has worked as a human resources professional at the University of Arizona for 18 years. During her tenure, she has worked in a number of human resources capacities including compensation and classification, recruitment and employment, employee relations and benefits administration. Currently she serves as Director of Recruitment and Employee Advising, which includes oversight for recruitment, hiring and on-boarding activities and employee and career advising services. Leslie is the 2008 President of the Society of Human Resources Management of Greater Tucson (SHRM-GT) chapter and also serves on the Saguaro Girl Scouts Council, Pima Community College's Training and Workforce Committee and the United Way's HR Advisory Board.
Philip Barquer, SPHR
Los Angeles, California
Philip Barquer, SPHR is President of HR Alternatives. He has held key HR management positions and directed the HR function for corporate and field operations for companies in technology, healthcare and manufacturing industries. He received his Professional Industrial Relations designation from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the National Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management and served on the Consultant Forum Board of Directors.
CHERYL J. SACHSE, SPHR

Cheryl Sachse is currently the Director of Human Resource for the Utah Retirement Systems. Cheryl has over thirty years experience in the human resource and management field in the private and public arena and holds a Masters degree in Human Resource and an SPHR certification. Cheryl understands the importance of the holistic approach to attracting, retaining, and maintaining a unified workforce. She is dedicated to helping teams discover their strengths and enabling them with methods to improve themselves and their organizations.
JAVIER LOZANO, MBA, SPHR-CA, GPHR
Bakersfield, California
Javier is currently the HR Manager for the City of Bakersfield in Bakersfield, CA. Javier has served as Vice President, Rewards & Systems for PRC a call-center company in Plantation, FL. In this role, Javier managed the Employee Relations and Performance Management including the development and implementation of organization-wide initiatives and processes to enhance organizational capability. Javier managed the organization’s rewards including benefits and compensation programs for the corporation’s 10,000 employees, located across the United States, the Philippines and India. Javier holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of La Verne in La Verne, CA. and is certified as Senior Professional in Human Resource – California (SPHR-CA) and as a Global Professional in Human Resource (GPHR).
